Victim In Fatal Callaway Fire Identified
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office has identified a person found dead in a structure fire near Steedman on Saturday night.
The victim is 80 year old Wilhelmina Young.
The autopsy on Young was completed yesterday [Monday] at the Boone-Callaway County Medical Examiner’s Office in Columbia.
Fire crews arrived in the 9000 block of State Road CC at 8:07 Saturday evening and found the home engulfed in flames.
At 11:35 Young’s body was found within the structure.
No foul play is suspected.
