Employees for Hubbell Power Systems in Centralia will go back to work this (Monday) morning with increased wages.
429 members of the local IUE-CWA took a vote on Saturday morning, and the union agreed to ratify a new contract with Hubbell.
According to union leaders the new agreement will provide a better retirement package, vacation eligibility for new employees and more competitive wages.
The new 4 year deal will include the largest wage increase at the Centralia plant in 40-plus years.
The new contract comes just days after workers picketed outside the plant warning of a strike if negotiations fell through.
