Fire crews were able to salvage a majority of a Holts Summit business after a fire at around 4:30 this morning. [Monday]
According to the Holts Summit Fire Protection District, crews responded to Dos Primos and observed heavy smoke coming from the roof and the rear of the building.
Firefighters performed an aggressive attack and were able to contain the blaze to mainly the kitchen area.
The Missouri State Fire Marshal Office was contacted to perform an investigation and ruled the cause of the fire was malfunctioning electrical equipment.
