An investigation into a shots fired incident in Mexico yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon is continuing.
Police say it happened in the 700 block of North Washington just before 1pm.
Officers report a boyfriend of a resident in the area arrived and the two began arguing, and the boyfriend fired a gun one time, with both people leaving.
Officers talked to both of them and some of the woman’s family, and are determining appropriate charges.
There were no injuries or property damage during the incident.
