Missouri Attorney General is suing Jim Bakker and Morningside Church Productions, Inc.
The lawsuit stems from a Jim Bakker Show production that aired nationwide last month and featured claims by Bakker and a “naturopathic doctor”, Sherill Sellman, that “Silver Solution” could cure the coronavirus.
The lawsuit filed this (Tuesday) morning requests a restraining order and permanent injunction ordering Bakker to stop selling Silver Solution as a treatment for coronavirus.
The Food and Drug Administration says that currently, there are no products to treat or cure the coronavirus and that anyone who has bought “Silver Solution” from the Jim Bakker Show should know that it cannot cure or treat coronavirus.
