Audrain County Sheriff Matt Oller Says Operations At His Department Won’t Change Amidst State’s Stay-At-Home Order

Audrain County Sheriff Matt Oller says things will continue to operate regularly after a stay-at-home order issued by Governor Mike Parson started today.

Sheriff Oller posted on the department’s Facebook page yesterday (Sunday) and says his staff will continue their operations just are they are doing right now.

Oller says deputies will not be stopping cars to ask the driver where they are going.

If the driver is stopped for some reason such as a traffic violation, they do not have to show some written documentation of where they are headed.

There will not be any road blocks to check for where drivers are headed.

Any formal complaints about the stay at home order outside the municipalities will be handled by the Audrain County Health Department.

Anyone with questions can call them at 573-581-1332.
