Weekly Community Health Meeting Details
The weekly meeting over Skype with the Audrain County Health Department and community leaders was held this afternoon.
In the meeting, SSM St. Mary’s Audrain reported that PPE continues to be a concern but they are working on a way to sterilize masks and are asking employees to wear their N-95 masks for 3 days unless they are visibly soiled or damaged.
SSM-Audrain’s drive-thru testing site at the north entrance to the hospital has tested 38 patients so far, and the Arthur Center reported conducting 6 tests.
Also, Community R-VI announced during the meeting that they are discontinuing daily meal deliveries and will go to door-to-door, twice-weekly deliveries on Mondays and Thursdays.
Students will get 3 meals at each delivery.
They ask families to place a cooler outside their door for staff to leave the meals in and wait until the staff member delivering the meals is back on the bus before retrieving the meals from the cooler.
