Mexico Public Safety Report For 4/14/20
CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Monday):
A stealing or theft call at the West Monroe Apartments.
A scam on Mars.
A stealing or theft reported at 4820 South Clark.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
An accident reported in the 1100 block of Elmwood on Saturday, April 11th at 7:55 pm.
According to the accident report when 21 year old Whitney S. Thompson of Kirksville was travelling south and a vehicle swerved into her path causing a collision and then left the scene.
No injuries were reported.
A 2 car accident at the corner of South Clark and Boulevard on Friday, April 10th at 2:13 pm.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 51 year old Serena Forsee of Mexico had stopped due to traffic congestion and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 47 year old Joseph Head of Mexico.
No injuries.
A 2 car accident reported on Friday, April 10th at 4:52 pm at the corner of Abat and Breckenridge.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 77 year old Carolyn Sveda of Mexico backed up to make a turn and hit a parked vehicle.
No injuries.
