According to Forbes revenues in baseball have been increasing for many years; however 2020 is bringing uncertainty as stadiums continue to be empty as players, coaches, and fans shelter at home.
A member of the original Kansas City Royals team is dead.
Bob Oliver passed away Sunday at the age of 77.
Oliver was an original Royal in 1969, who recorded the franchise’s first 6-hit game during that first season.
He played 4 years in Kansas City hitting 49 home runs with 200 RBIs.
His son Darren was born in Kansas City and went on to pitch 20 years in the Majors.
