ARRESTS:

Mexico Public Safety reports the following arrests:

29 year old Angell R. Pruitt arrested on Friday, May 22nd for 2 Audrain County warrants.

56 year old Kerry L. Lewis arrested Friday, May 22nd on a Jackson County warrant.

48 year old Deanna L. Harig arrested yesterday (Sunday) for a DWI, 2nd offense.

19 year old Mason M. Crenshaw arrested yesterday (Monday) for a parole and probation warrant.

POLICE LIGHTS

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls over the Memorial Day weekend starting on Friday, May 22nd:

A suspicious vehicle on Garfield.

An animal bite reported at South Morris Street.

Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday, May 23rd:

A fight in progress at North Mississippi.

A stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark and at 420 West Monroe.

A stolen vehicle reported at North Mississippi.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, May 24th:

A stealing or theft on Highway 15 and at Audrain County Road 208.

Public safety went to the following calls for service yesterday (Monday):

A natural cover fire on Tyronn Lue Boulevard.

Shots fired reported at the corner of West Boulevard and Singleton.

 

CAR ACCIDENTS:

Two car accidents reported in Mexico over the Memorial Day weekend.

Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon a Mexico man was taken to the hospital after a one car accident at 617 Park.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle being driven by 72 year old Lark C. Gardener went off the road and hit a pole.

Gardener sustained a head wound and was taken to the University Hospital in Columbia.
A one car accident reported on Saturday night in the 400 block of Lakeview.

According to the accident report it happened when 63 year old Cheryl A. Chaney of Mexico was driving her vehicle with a defected tire after hitting a flower pot off the roadway and striking 2 reflective signs and came to a stop.

No injuries reported.
