Former Missouri Tigers coach Gary Pinkel is on the 2021 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

The announcement was made yesterday (Tuesday) by the National Football Foundation and the College Hall of Fame.

Pinkel is the winningest coach at Mizzou, having coached the Tigers from 2001 until he retired in 2015.

Pinkel coached his teams to 11 bowl games.

The announcement of the 2021 Hall of Fame class is expected in early 2021 with the official induction ceremony scheduled for December 7, 2021.

Mizzou center Axel Okongo has entered the transfer portal, according to an MU spokesperson.

In the one season with Mizzou, Okongo scored 5 points and took down 2 rebounds and had 30 minutes of playing time over 8 games.

NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett says he has tested positive for COVID-19 and now is in quarantine.

The 63 year old Jarrett broke the news yesterday (Tuesday).

The 3 time Daytona 500 winner and 1999 Cup champion said the only symptom he had was a slight cough and that he was doing well.
