The Kansas City Chiefs and Super Bowl MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes have reportedly reached an agreement on a 10-year contract that would keep him through the 2031 season.

The Chiefs made the announcement yesterday (Monday).

According to ESPN the deal is 450 million over the 10-year period and could be worth up to 503 million dollars.

The extension includes a $140 million injury guarantee, as well as a no-trade clause.

The St. Louis Cardinals have released a 60-game schedule for the 2020 season.

The Cardinals will open up the season on Friday, July 24th, with a 3-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates and finish their 60-game slate at Busch Stadium on Sunday, September 27, versus the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Cardinals will also take part in the only game to be played outside a Major League city when they take on the Chicago White Sox in the MLB at Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa on Thursday, August 13th.
