The St. Louis Cardinals will finally be able to travel back home from Milwaukee today (Wednesday).
Speaking with media yesterday, Cardinals General Manager John Mozeliak said the team’s COVID tests came back negative, clearing the way for the trip home.
The Cardinals have missed 7 games since players and team staff first tested positive last week.
As of now the Redbirds are still scheduled to host the Chicago Cubs on Friday.
The Kansas City Royals with a 5-4 loss to the Chicago Cubs on the road last (Tuesday) night.
The Royals fell to 3-9 on the season.
