Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 44 year old Amy M. Sparks yesterday (Wednesday) for a Granite City, Illinois warrant.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday):
Property damage on East Lafayette.
Trespassing at Christy.
A scam on Beacon.
A stealing or theft at North Wade.
A structure fire on East Liberty.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A 2 car accident reported on South Elmwood Drive and Boulevard in Mexico this (Thursday) morning.
According to the accident report it happened just after 5:30, when a vehicle driven by 20 year old Brianna Buck of Mexico proceeded into the intersection and was hit by a vehicle driven by 41 year old Timothy Herron of Mexico.
No injuries reported.
A one car accident at Hazel and Meadow last (Wednesday) night.
According to the accident report it happened just after 6:30 when a 28 year old Dustin W. Cranmer of Thompson backed a trailer into a fixed object.
No injuries reported.
