The Mexico Bulldogs will look to secure a piece of the North Central Missouri Conference Championship tonight (Friday) when they travel to Moberly to battle the Spartans.

If Mexico wins tonight the NCMC would end in a three way tie between Mexico, Moberly and Hannibal.

If the Spartans are victorious they would be win the NCMC outright.

Mexico comes into the game with a 4-2 overall record and 3-1 in the conference while Moberly is 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the NCMC.

Kickoff is at 7.

 

Other games in high school football tonight include Hannibal is at home hosting Marshall.

The Fulton Hornets on the road at Kirksville.

Hallsville at home facing California.

Monroe City goes to Clark County.

North Callaway hosts Mark Twain.

Paris travels to Clopton-Elsberry.

Jefferson City is at home against Battle.

And Centralia takes on Macon.

The Community R6 Lady Trojans will face Silex Lady Owls for the Class 1 District 8 Softball Championship tonight (Friday).

Silex is the number 1 seed while the Lady Trojans are 2nd seed.

First pitch tonight in Laddonia is at 6pm.

The Kansas City Chiefs added a veteran to their running game yesterday (Thursday) as Le’Veon Bell signed a deal to join the defending Super Bowl champions.

Bell was released by the New York Jets earlier this week, agreed to a one-year deal according to ESPN.

Bell will have to go through 5 days of COVID-19 testing before he can join the Chiefs, so he will not be available to play on Monday, when Kansas City plays the Buffalo Bills.
