The 12th Judicial Circuit, comprised of Audrain, Montgomery, and Warren Counties is receiving an award from the Missouri Supreme Court.
The Permanency Award was received by the circuit for excellence in service to children and families.
The award recognizes the Circuit Court’s consistent timely hearings for child abuse and neglect cases.
Judge Kelly Broniec served as the circuit’s Juvenile Division judge for 14 years before being appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals.
The award will be displayed at the Montgomery County Courthouse in honor of Judge Broniec’s contribution to the local juvenile justice system.
