The Community R6 School District is making several changes to their COVID-19 plan.
One of the changes approved at the Board of Education meeting this week was a resolution declaring staff as essential workers.
Superintendent Cheryl Mack says COVID-19 has had a major impact on staffing.
Mack says they also expanded their mask mandate at the school.
Mack says the plan is to give students mask breaks throughout the day.
