The Tigers rallied for the largest 4th quarter comeback in school history Saturday to defeat the Razorbacks 50-48 at Memorial Stadium.
Mizzou trailed by 14 in the 4th quarter but outscored the Razorbacks 24-8 over the final 13:15 to run Mizzou’s winning streak against their SEC West permanent cross division rival Arkansas to 5.
Arkansas converted a two-point conversion to take a 48-47 lead with 43 seconds left but Mizzou drove 60 yards to set up freshman Harrison Mevis to kick a 32-yard field goal as time expired.
The Tigers have won 5 of their last 6, the only loss during that span to top-10 ranked Florida.
Mizzou is home Saturday, taking on SEC East Division rival Georgia, although no time has yet been been set for kickoff.
Mizzou Men’s Basketball team picked up a win on the road yesterday (Sunday) at Wichita State 72-62.
Senior guard Mark Smith led all scorers with 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting.
Mizzou improves to 3-0 on the season and 4-0 all time against the Shockers of Wichita State.
