Audrain County is the recipient of thousands of dollars in grant money for food and sheltering programs for eligible agencies.
The Audrain County Emergency Food and Shelter Board announced today (Monday) the opening of grant funding in the amount of $7,565.00 through Phase 37, $10,785.00 through Phase Cares and $7,352.00 through Phase 38.
Agencies in the county that help provide food and shelter for those in need may apply until Friday, July 2, 2021 at 4pm.
Applications can be picked up at the Laura Miller George Help Center at 409 Fairground Street or at the office of Audrain County Emergency Management at the courthouse in Mexico.
