Mexico Public Safety Report 12/10/20

ARRESTS:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 38 year old Ray A. Redmond yesterday (Wednesday) for 2 City of Mexico Warrants.

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday):

A stealing or theft at North Jefferson and at 4820 South Clark.

Threats on Kelley Parkway.

A fraud at North Coal.

A missing juvenile on North Olive.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A Mexico man is recovering from injuries after an accident on his motorcycle yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

According to Mexico Public Safety it happened on South Olive at Monroe around 4:52pm.

A vehicle driven by 28 year old Waldemar Sanchez of Mexico made a turn in front of a motorcycle that was driven by 24 year old Tyler Kemey causing a collision.

Kemey was taken to the University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

 

Mexico Public Safety responded to a one car accident yesterday (Wednesday) morning after a vehicle hit a utility pole and then came to rest on the railroad tracks on South Morris.

According to the accident report 38 year old Donnie Chatman was on the phone while driving talking to his mother about his fathers passing and was on the way to the hospital when the accident happened.

Norfolk Southern stopped all trains while the vehicle was removed.

No injuries were reported.
