For a second night in a row the Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Boys and Girls Teams came away with wins on the road.
The Mexico girls defeated the Eugene Lady Eagles 56 to 43.
The Lady Dogs were led in the scoring once again by Mya Miller with 28 points.
Riley Blevins put up 11 points, Lexi Willer and Riley Thurman had 4 points each.
Jordan Thurman had 3 points.
It was Taylor Demint, Capri’Ona Fountain, and Abby Oetting with 2 points each.
The Mexico girls improved their record to 8-2 on the season, they are off next week and will next play in the Macon Tournament the week of January 18th-23rd.
The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team took out the Eugene boys 66 to 35.
The Bulldogs boys are off to one of the best starts in school history improving their record to a unblemished 9-0.
The Bulldogs also won their third road game this week.
They were led in scoring by Isaiah Reams and Drew Blevins who had 12 points each.
Daeye Miller contributed 8 points. Raef Yager finished with 7 points.
Jordan Mitchell, Peyton Willer, and Michael White had six points each.
Rounding out the scoring book was Brayden Dunn, and Ty Prince with 3 points each.
And Anthony Shivers put up 2 points.
The Bulldogs boys will be back at home on Monday, January 11th for a non-conference game against the Boonville Pirates.
