The Mexico Bulldogs Football Team had a huge night at Hawthorne Heights last (Friday) with a 41-14 win against North Central Missouri Conference rival Moberly.

Anthony Shivers reached the end zone 5 times and put up 252 yards rushing. He also intercepted the ball twice.
And Senior Deacon Haag had a special moment on Senior Night. Deacon recovered a blocked punt and ran for 28 yards for a special team touchdown. The Bulldogs will play the regular season finale on the road in Warrenton next week. With a win Mexico could secure a number 1 seed in Districts.
In week 8 of Friday Night Lights of area high school football the Hannibal Pirates (8-0) earned a North Central Missouri Conference Championship defeating Marshall (1-7) 65-0.

Blair Oaks (6-2) with a 71-34 win against Southern Boone (3-5).

The Bowling Green Bobcats pushed their record to a perfect 7-0 after defeating South Callaway (4-4) 62-14.
Palmyra (4-4) over South Shelby (2-6) 27-8.
Hallsville improved to 8-0 taking care of California (5-3) 46-6.
Capital City (1-7) loses to Winnetonka (5-3) 47-21.
Macon (4-4) outlasted Centralia (4-4) 28-22.
Jefferson City (4-4) in a shoot out beating Battle (4-3) 55-52.
Rock Bridge (4-4) wins the Providence Bowl over Hickman (2-7) 28-7.
Helias (7-1) 35-3 over Smith Cotton (1-7).
Louisiana (4-4) took care of Wright City (1-6) 26-15.
Mark Twain (7-1) bested North Callaway (4-3) 22-8.
MMA (1-7) was shut out by Crystal City (3-3) 52-0.
Monroe City (7-1) dominated Clark County (1-7) 58-16.
Montgomery County (5-3) handled Van-Far (0-8) 38-8.
Herculaneum (3-5) defeated Paris (1-7) 20-8.
Father Tolton (5-2) beat Cuba (0-8) 33-20.
The 3-3 Missouri Tigers at home today (Saturday) to face the 4-2, 21st ranked Texas A & M Aggies.
The Aggies are coming off a 41-38 win over Alabama last week.
While the Tigers beat North Texas 48-35 last week.
Mizzou has won two of the last three meetings against the Aggies. Kickoff is at 11.
