Recent concrete work at the Vandalia branch library has improved both the back parking lot and the front entrance.
Branch Manager Crystal McCurdy says the improvements make it easier for patrons to access the facility.
The parking lot will also provide a level surface for outdoor activities this summer during the Summer Reading Program that kicks off June 1st.
