Vaccines will be available at the Health Department beginning October 3rd, Mondays through Wednesdays from 8-3 and Thursdays from 8-12. Insurance generally covers the full cost, and the vaccine is available to the uninsured, cost to be determined after consultation with the billing department.
This morning we spoke with Clinical Services Manager Becky Wieberg and Immunization Coordinator Brandi Meyer from the Audrain County Health Department. They filled us in on the symptoms, myths, and dangers surrounding the flu vaccine. We asked about treatment options.
