The Mexico Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacant seat after Marci Orr turned in her resignation during last (Tuesday) night’s meeting.
Orr has accepted a job with the Mexico School District and will be the next director of communication starting July 1st.
Bethany Collins administrative assistant to the superintendent and board of education says applications for the vacant seat are available on the district website, and at Central Office and can be emailed as well upon request.
Applications for the vacant seat are due by July 18 at 4pm.
The unexpired term will run through April 2024.
