Fourth Person Applies For Vacant Seat On Mexico School Board

A fourth application has been received for a vacant seat on the Mexico School District Board of Education.

It was announced today (Tuesday), that Lennette Brown has applied.

Mrs. Brown is a Mexico resident of 21 years and works at Arthur Center Community Health in Mexico.

She is married to Pastor Andre Brown.

They have two kids and eight grandchildren.

Along with Brown, Matthew Robnett, Michelle Cobb Stephens, and Erick Richardson have applied for the vacant seat.

The vacancy was created when Marci Orr resigned, on June 20, 2023 in order to accept a job with the Mexico School District to become the director of communications.

The deadline for the applications is tonight (Tuesday), July 18, 2023 at 5pm.
