Mexico High School Junior Varsity Cross Country Nearly Wins Team Title At MMA Meet
The JV Cross Country Team competed at the MMA Meet here in Mexico, Mo Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
Coach Lucas Brenneman said “We lucked out again and had cool temps which in distance running is always a blessing.
The JV team competed at the Varsity level and continued its strong running nearly winning the team title.
They were led by Senior Christian (Ash) Frederickson who placed 6th in the race. Following right behind and also earning a medal were Sophmore Kyle Lewis 7th, Sophmore Jacob Quinlan 8th, Sophomore Aaron Ortiz 9th, and Junior Landon Higgins 10th.”
