A Fulton business owner has been charged with stealing after an arrest this week where he is accused of failing to supply firearms and firearm accessories to customers who had paid for the items in full.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, received five complaints of over $3,000 in missing online purchases, which started an investigation into Meadowlark Outfitters LLC and its owner Michael Mullett.
The Callaway County Prosecutor charged Mullett with one count of attempting to steal $750 or more on Wednesday according to online records.
The probable cause statement goes on to say that during an interview with an investigator Tuesday, Mullett initially stated he was prompt about settling orders, but later said his records are a mess which resulted in things falling through the cracks.
