Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the following calls for service on Monday, December 4, 2023.
- An unwanted subject on South Missouri and at 3066 South Clark.
- Careless and imprudent driver on Woodlawn and at East Holt/Green Boulevard and at East Liberty/Highway 54 bypass.
- A scam at the Jubel Drive apartment building.
- Stealing or theft on East Whitley and at 629 East Liberty and at 4820 South Clark.
- Shop lifting at 4820 South Clark.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Western at Monroe on Monday, December 4, 2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened just after 3pm.
A vehicle driven by 69-year-old Howard Jeffries of Mexico pulled out of a private drive and drove into the side of a vehicle driven by 77-year-old Betsy Shaw of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on Monday, December 4, 2023 on Teal Lake at Clark.
According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Amy Fuemmeler of Mexico rear ended the back of a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Tessa Ward of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
