
An Audrain County man who has been under investigation for multiple child sex crimes since 2021 was sentenced to 50 years in prison on Wednesday, December 7, 2023.
39-year-old William Dahl of Rush Hill was found guilty in September of one count of producing child pornography and two counts of receiving child pornography.
According to a news release Judge John A. Ross told Dahl on Wednesday that the evidence was clear, convincing and overwhelming about your guilt.
Dahl’s victims were 7, 14, and 16 years old.
Dahl’s co-defendant, 35-year-old Jennifer Huddleston, admitted to taking photos of herself abusing the 7-year-old while the girl was sleeping and then sending the photos to Dahl.
Huddleston was sentenced in October to nearly 15 years in prison.
In addition to the federal case, Dahl faces 24 felonies and two misdemeanors in six state cases in Audrain and Randolph counties.
Charges include rape, sodomy, kidnapping and child molestation.
Dahl’s prison sentence was ordered to run consecutively to any sentence he receives for his pending state cases.
A disposition hearing is scheduled for December 13th in the state cases.
