Fulton Man Facing Charges After Being Accused Of Drugging His Wife

A Fulton man is charged with several felonies after an arrest where he is accused of drugging his wife.

57-year-old Kevin Bentley, was charged after a report to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office at the end of November, where a deputy was dispatched to residence after a woman was reported to have been drugged by Bentley.

According to the probable cause statement Bentley allegedly admitted to putting hydrocodone into wife’s drink.

The statement says the woman appeared to be under the influence and was brought to Boone Hospital for treatment.

Bentley allegedly told deputies that he spiked his wife’s drink to make her stay awake so she would talk with him.

A witness later spoke with the deputy and allegedly said Bentley called her to say he put hydrocodone into his wife’s coffee, and that the hydrocodone was previously in a pill bottle where he stored methamphetamine.

A toxicology report allegedly stated that the woman had tested positive for methamphetamine, the statement says.

Deputies say they found meth in Bentley’s truck after he told them he threw out the coffee cup and a pill bottle at Moser’s in Fulton.
