The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team cruised to a 79-51 opening round win over Hazelwood West at the US Bank Boys Holiday Tournament on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Mexico improved to 10-1 on the season with ten different Bulldogs scoring.
Mexico was led once again by senior point guard DJ Long with a game high 16 points.
Kaden Benne checked in with 12 points.
Charlie Fisher and Jaydon Eldridge rounded out the double digit scoring with 11 points each respectively.
PJ Perkins had 9 points.
Donye Nunnelly with 8 points.
Sam Ryan and Holden Aulbur with 4 points each.
And Grant Broeker and Aidan Knipfel had two points each.
The Bulldogs shot 71% from the free throw line going 15/21 and made 4- 3 pointers.
