Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Star DJ Long Is An All-Stater

Mexico Bulldogs Basketball senior point guard DJ Long accomplished what very few players are able to do.
Long was selected to the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 4 All State Team.
During the 2023-2024 season Long averaged 18.6 points per game, scored a total of 559 points.
He averaged 4.6 rebounds per game and 2.6 steals per game with a total of 79 steals on the season.
Head coach Darren Pappas says “This is a huge honor and a very difficult team to make.”
Long led Mexico basketball to a 27-3 record this season along with a Conference Championship and undefeated record in the North Central Missouri Conference and District Championship, as well as a Sectionals win.
