New Bloomfield Man Hit By Vehicle In Serious Condition

A New Bloomfield man was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while walking on a Callaway County road.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports it happened yesterday on County Road AE, south of Meadowlake Road, near New Bloomfield on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

73-year-old David Daughtry was crossing the road, when he was hit by the vehicle.

The report stated that the vehicle did not stop.

Daughtry was taken by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.
