New Temporary Location For Mexico Animal Shelter Announced
The City of Mexico has announced a new location for the Mexico Animal Shelter until further notice.
The Mexico Animal Shelter will be located at 721 West Jackson.
The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm.

The Mexico Animal Shelter located in the 100 block of Morris Street suffered significant damage from a fire on December 14, 2023.
The Mexico City Council approved a bid from Flowmaster Construction to repair the damage for just over $229,000 during a meeting on Monday, May 13, 2024.
The insurance will pay around $220,000 leaving the City of Mexico to cover around $9,000.
The work is expected to get started in a couple of weeks and is estimated to be completed in 90-180 days.
