Missouri opened Sunday with a 5-1 victory over Omaha before a 1-0 win over Omaha again in Game 7.
Laurin Krings started both games for Mizzou.
In the second game Krings tallied 15 total strikeouts through nine innings.
The Tigers advanced to the Super Regionals and are set to host No. 10 Duke next week.

The St. Louis Cardinals were unable to complete the series sweep against the Boston Red Sox losing 11-3 yesterday in the series finale at Busch Stadium.
The Cardinals were out hit 14-6.

The Kansas City Royals completed a series sweep over the Oakland A’s with an 8-4 win on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
With the victory Kansas City is 10 games over .500 for the first time since 2015.

Hall of Famer Gary Pinkel’s G.P. M.A.D.E. Foundation is set to host its 6th annual golf tournament on Monday, May 20, 2024.
Since its start up in 2019, Pinkel’s Foundation has awarded over 80 scholarships, providing more than $390,000 to low-income seniors.
Additionally, the foundation has distributed over $285,000 in grants to local Missouri organizations.

The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that Matt Morris, Whitey Kurowski, and Dave Duncan will be inducted into the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame.
Chosen by the fans over an eight-week voting period Matt Morris was the top vote-getter in the Cardinals Hall of Fame online balloting.
An enshrinement ceremony will be held at Ballpark Village during Hall of Fame Weekend presented by Edward Jones on Saturday, September 7.
