2024 Power Of The Purse Event Raises Thousands Of Dollars For United Way Of Audrain County

About $18,000 was raised for the Untied Way of Audrain County at the Second Annual Power of the Purse held at the Missouri Military Academy on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

There were 39 purses/bags donated.

There were 33 table donations, along with several other donations.

The venue was donated by the Missouri Military Academy and the flowers were donated by Jenna with Holland Floral Design Co.

Caleb and Marquette and Harrison Backer volunteered auctioning the top 10 valued bags.

United Way of Audrain County board president Gina Raines says “It was another successful year.

And the hopes are to continue it annually and grow the event.”
