Fulton Police Identify A Fulton Teen As Victim Of Fatal Shooting

A Fulton man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Fulton during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

According to the Fulton Police Department multiple law enforcement agencies including the Fulton Police Department responded to reports of gunshots in the 1200 block of Kathy Street shortly after 1pm.

Upon arrival, police officers discovered 19-year-old Jakiem Braggs, suffering from a gunshot wound. Immediate aid was given, but Braggs died at the scene according to the press release.

Authorities say this was not a random incident but also that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The Fulton Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
