Mexico Bulldogs Football Scores Seven Touchdowns In Homecoming Victory Over Marshall

The Mexico Bulldogs football team evened their record at 2-2 with a 49-13 victory over the Marshall Owls on Friday, September 20, 2024.

Mexico would control the game from start to finish.

The Bulldogs recovered a punt that was fumbled by Marshall on the opening kickoff.

Korbyn Dorsey would provide the Bulldogs first score on a four-yard touchdown run and it was 7-0 Mexico at the 9:31 mark of the first quarter.

Marshall would fumble a punt on a return again and Mexico’s Ayden Gears would recover the ball at the 31-yard line.

Mexico would then score on a 31-yard pass from Charlie Fisher to Tyson Carr and it was 14-0 Mexico.

The Bulldogs would strike next on a 61-yard touchdown rumble from running back Drew DeMint.

After a missed extra point Mexico led 20-0 with 1:09 remaining in the first quarter.

Drew DeMint would score again on a 67-yard punt return for a touchdown and the Bulldogs led 27-0.

The next Mexico score came via a Charlie Fisher 9-yard touchdown pass to Tyson Carr.

And it was 32-0 Bulldogs.

Charlie Fisher scored on a 12-yard rush with :58 seconds left in the first quarter and the Bulldogs enjoyed a 42-7 advantage at halftime.

Mexico would score one more time in the second half on a 29-yard touchdown run from Drew DeMint who finished the game with 102 yards rushing.
