An Auxvasse man who is in the Callaway County jail on child pornography charges, is facing new charges of child abuse.
According to online court records, 32-year-old Michael C. Jenkins, formerly of Boonville, was charged Tuesday with two counts of child abuse of neglect.
The probable cause statement reads that Boonville Police Department investigators interviewed three children who said Jenkins had put them in lockers while they lived in Boonville.
The lockers could not be opened from inside.
The statement says the children accused Jenkins of having a camera set up in the bathroom, as well. Jenkins allegedly told police that the children liked to play hide-and-seek with the lockers.
He denied setting up a camera in the bathroom.
Jenkins has been in the Callaway County Jail since June on charges of possessing child pornography.
