Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, November 1, 2024:
- Property damage on MacFarlane.
- Unwanted subject at 629 East Liberty, and on Vance Road and at 4820 South Clark and on West Monroe.
- Stealing or theft at Mars.
- Harassment on MacFarlane.
- Domestic verbal incident at East Central/South Calhoun.
- Structure fire on Liberty.
Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Saturday, November 2, 2024:
- Shots fired reported in the 1700 block of North Jefferson.
- Suspicious person on West Breckenridge Drive.
- Harassment at Rock Springs Drive and at 4820 South Clark.
- Stealing or theft on West Jackson and at North Clark.
- Shoplifting on West Monroe.
- Trespassing at West Street.
Mexico Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Sunday, November 3, 2024:
- Suspicious vehicle on West Monroe.
- Harassment at Rock Springs Drive.
- Unwanted subject on MacFarlane.
- Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
- A kidnapping reported on North Clark.
- Careless and imprudent driver at North Western/Hendricks.
Car accidents:
Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident on South Clark and Boulevard on Friday, November 1, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Makayla Waldmeier of Mexico crashed into the back of a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Joella Davis of Thompson.
No injuries were reported.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident in the 2200 block of South Clark on Friday, November 1, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by Maria Aguirre-Segura of Mexico slowed due to other vehicles in front of her slowing down.
A vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Mexico girl crashed into the back of Aguirre-Segura’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
