The following is a press release from the Missouri Military Academy.
The Missouri Military Academy (MMA) Valentine Ball was held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Centennial Gymtorium, bringing cadets, their dates, family and friends together for a night of celebration.
As part of an annual tradition, MMA invites and welcomes distinguished guests from the Miss Missouri organization, such as Miss Missouri Outstanding Teen, Miss Missouri Teen USA, Miss Missouri Volunteer, Miss Missouri Volunteer Teen and other local pageant winners.
These special guests are escorted to the ball by MMA cadet leaders.
This year, Cadet Battalion Commander Mason Brooks, a high school senior from Henrietta, Texas, had the honor of escorting Miss Missouri’s Teen Bridget Caldwell.
“We thank the pageant winners for attending,” said MMA President Brigadier General Richard V. Geraci, USA (Ret). “We value our relationship with the Miss Missouri organization and appreciate that both of our organizations are committed to leadership development and helping young people reach their full potential.”
Miss Missouri Ashley Berry visited MMA in January to meet with President Geraci.
Geraci presented Miss Berry with a challenge coin that commemorates the Academy’s 135th anniversary to recognize her achievement in being crowned Miss Missouri and in appreciation of the Academy’s 55-year relationship with the Miss Missouri scholarship organization.
MMA helps sponsor the Miss Missouri pageant each year via a special facilities rental rate that enables the Miss Missouri scholarship organization to conduct an orientation on campus in April and conduct the scholarship pageant on campus for a week in June.
