Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe chose earlier today to put four different issues on Missourians primary ballots.
The highest-profile measure would phase out income tax and give more legal power to put taxes on goods and services, which would also require local governments to lower property taxes to offset tax increases.
Other ballot measures include…
Continuing the statewide tenth-of-a-percent soil and water conservation sales tax.
A requirement that all charter counties elect a county assessor
A constitutional amendment that would make it harder for a measure to make the ballot by citizen petition.
All of these issues will be present on the ballot when Missourians go to the polls in August.
