A popular Lake of the Ozarks restaurant suffered extensive damage after an early morning fire Monday near Camdenton.
The Mid-County Fire Protection District says crews were dispatched just before 3 a.m. to the Pebble Bay Club Restaurant off Good Neighbors Road, where flames and smoke could be seen from miles away.
Firefighters found about a quarter of the building engulfed in flames and brought the fire under control within 45 minutes.
No injuries were reported, but the restaurant suffered major fire, smoke and water damage.
The state fire marshal is now investigating the cause.
