A Moberly woman is facing a felony charge for allegedly financially exploiting a disabled person.
Court documents state Angelic G. Nichols was the representative payee for a person with mild intellectual disabilities beginning in February 2024.
Prosecutors allege that between December 2024 and March 2026, Nichols transferred more than 22-thousand dollars from the person’s account into accounts she controlled.
Officials also allege Nichols took 700 dollars a month to pay her personal bills.
