A Mexico, Missouri, man is facing possible drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop Friday in Mexico.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F, a trooper stopped a vehicle for a registration violation, and a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office K9 alerted deputies to possible narcotics.
Investigators say a search uncovered methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, a scale and more than $1,500 in cash.
The man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree drug trafficking, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
As of Monday, formal charges had not yet appeared in Missouri’s online court records.
