The husband of a Boone County Jail inmate who died last year has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in federal court.
Grant Davis alleges jail medical staff and healthcare provider Turn Key Health Clinics failed to properly monitor and treat Robert Muller-Russo before his death in April 2025.
The lawsuit claims Muller-Russo repeatedly reported serious medical symptoms, including heart problems, seizures, and loss of mobility, but was denied adequate care.
An autopsy later determined he died from sepsis caused by appendicitis.
The lawsuit is seeking 20 million dollars in damages.
