A Linn Creek woman is facing felony charges after Missouri investigators say she used forged documents to work as a nurse.
The Missouri Attorney General’s Office charged Darcee Heath with three counts of forgery and one count of practicing nursing with fraudulently obtained credentials.
Authorities allege Heath submitted fake transcripts and diplomas to secure nursing jobs at multiple health care facilities in the Lake of the Ozarks area.
Concerns were raised when supervisors noticed she lacked basic nursing skills, prompting investigations that allegedly uncovered the falsified records.
Court documents state no patients were harmed, and a warrant has been requested for Heath’s arrest.
