A Columbia man is behind bars for an alleged stalking on Sunday.
According to probable cause statements, a woman made a report saying that she was scared of her ex-boyfriend, Drew Coco, and requested a trespass warning be made against him.
About three hours after authorities informed him of the warning, Coco reportedly returned to the residence and tried to break down the back door, causing damage. When officers quickly arrived on the scene, Coco fled on his motorized scooter.
Upon stopping him, officers noticed that he was heavily intoxicated and had no license.
Coco is charged with Chronic DWI, 1st Degree Property Damage, Resisting Arrest, Stalking, and Trespassing. He is being jailed without bond.
