Marching Mizzou has been named the winner of the drumline tournament at London Band Week in England.
Mizzou performed and visited multiple prestigious locations in London, winning their drumline title at Horse Guard’s Parade in Central London.
Marching Mizzou was one of several American universities competing, with one of the others being the Carolina Band from the University of South Carolina.
The Mizzou band competed against prestigious European bands as well, including the British Royal Marines Band Service.
In total, 26 bands competed with over 1,700 musicians.
The Marching Mizzou band members are on their way home today after a victorious world tour.
